The Monticello Lions Club is a lively group of diverse individuals who are committed to serving and improving lives in our community! We are part of Lions Club International which proudly represents more than 1.4 million members in more than 49,000 local clubs.
Our mission is simple: To leave our community and our world in a better place than how we found it, each and every day. To give of our time, energy, and talents to improve the lives of those who could use the help. To always put others' needs before our own in the name of service. And we are grateful for the opportunity to do it together as a Lions Club - making friends and memories that last a lifetime!

How to become or sponsor a new Monticello Lions Club Member

Must be a Monticello Lions Club Member in good standing

Dues must be paid and up to date

Must be a member of the Monticello Lions Club for at least 1 year

Must pay for the proposed Lion's dinner at two (2) consecutive dinner meetings

Must attend Lions 101 training with proposed Lion and membership committee

Must be willing to mentor and support proposed Lion in any way possible

Must attend Two (2) consecutive dinner meetings with sponsor

Must attend a Lions board meeting and introduce themselves to all board members

Must attend Lions 101 training with sponsor and membership committee prior to board vote

Must submit application and pay applicable fees night of induction

Quickest steps to membership

Attend Monticello Lions dinner meeting

Attend Monticello Lions Board meeting (Introduction)

Attend consecutive Monticello Lions dinner meetings

At the following Monticello Lions board meeting the board members vote on proposed member

The Lions Board must vote unanimously to induct new member

Attend dinner meeting with sponsor and be inducted

NOTE: Lions 101 Training lasts one (1) Year

Two (2) Consecutive dinner meetings last one (1) year
